This certificate is an intensive, one-year training program that prepares you to obtain an entry-level position in the field of computer aided drafting and design.

During the fall and spring semesters, you will be enrolled in 12 courses, gaining in-depth knowledge of the leading CAD software packages. During the spring semester you will actively participate in selecting an internship site for your six-week summer practicum.

This academic program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation in an entry-level position in the Computer Aided Design field.

This program is offered by the Applied Technologies Department.

Salaries vary based on position and degree attainment. The department estimates that starting salaries range from $24,900 to $33,000, dependent upon your experience and the company hiring.
