Courses

Beginner Cookie Decorating

If you’ve never worked with royal icing or have dabbled just a little, this class will help you get the ball rolling. We will work step by step on each cookie to learn the various decorating techniques used with royal icing, specifically piping/outlining, flooding, and wet-on-wet techniques. There are five cookie designs planned, and we will keep things rolling to get them all completed by the end of class. All supplies are provided. Once class registration has closed, students will be sent Cindy’s informational handout via email, with basics of baking cookies, tips and tricks of the trade, and a list of places online to check out for additional tutorials, instructional blogs, recipes, and vendors/suppliers for those who want to take it to the next level. Ages 10+. 

Students who have to withdraw must do so at least one week prior to the start of the course for a full refund.

Clean Sweets

Indulge your sweet tooth without the sugar crash! These clean sweets are vegan, gluten-free, lightly sweetened with clean sugars, and packed with protein. We’ll whip up hazelnut chocolate pralines, peanut butter fudge, fresh and creamy strawberry ice cream, and carrot cake bites. Join us for two and a half hours of hands-on baking in a lively social atmosphere, and delight in the delicious outcomes! Students who need to withdraw must do so at least one week prior to the start of the class for a refund.

Vegan for Summer Lovers

There’s nothing better than winding down a summer day by gathering around the table with family or friends – good food included! In this vegan cooking course, we’ll roll up our sleeves and make not one, but two versions of homemade lasagna: one light and fresh, the other rich and comforting. Spend two and a half joyful hours of hands-on cooking together in a lively, social atmosphere, and then enjoy the delicious rewards of your kitchen creations.
