Easy Lip Balm

Pamper your lips! In this class, we will learn how to make a gentle lip scrub and a moisturizing lip balm using healing oils and essential and flavored oils. You’ll take home two containers of scrub and three containers of lip balm. All materials will be provided. Course includes a $10 materials fee.

Felting Fun!

This course will cover the basics of the beautiful art of needle felting. Needle felting is a very sculptural craft that uses wool yarn and a needle similarly to paint and a brush to create beautiful textural artwork. This class will teach you the basics of felting so you can take what you’ve learned with you and create more pieces on your own. All supplies needed are included in the price of the class, and you can take them home with you to use in your future work!

Foggy Rain Painting

Scientists have linked creative expression to overall wellness, brain stimulation, and stress reduction. Art also enhances cognitive abilities, stimulates imagination, sharpens problem solving skills, and so much more! Art in Mind is a wellness studio that emphasizes the powerful effects that art has on the soul. Students must withdraw five business days before the start of the course for a full refund.

Join an experienced instructor from Art in Mind Studio to paint this beautiful piece inspired by artist Leonid Afremov. Have you wanted to learn how to create reflections, fog, and more? Learn acrylic painting techniques that will challenge you regardless of your painting experience. We will teach you step by step and give you individualized help in creating your own unique masterpiece. All levels are welcome! All supplies included. No experience necessary.

Painting Bold and Bright Florals in Acrylic

Find your courage and immerse yourself into the world of bold and powerful acrylic painting. Designed for all skill levels, this workshop will teach you proven techniques to create bold, dimensional florals. This course will cover the fundamentals of composition, color mixing and brushwork. You’ll get personalized instruction creating depth and luminosity as you explore the vibrant medium of acrylics. This workshop will give you foundational techniques you can apply to other work. Promised Land Farm Bug Away

Summer is coming; be prepared! Join us to make some all-natural bug repellent. We will use moisturizing oils and essential oils to make four containers of all-natural bug repellent in tins that are easy to take with you and won’t spill. All materials will be provided. Sewing for Beginners

In this introductory class, you will learn about your sewing machine, including how to thread it, wind the bobbin, set the tension, and test it. Bring your sewing machine, extension cord, manual, thread, fabric scraps, scissors, and a seam ripper to class.

Sewing for Beginners Level 2

If you are totally new to sewing, the Sewing for Beginners class is a prerequisite for this class. We will build on your beginner skills to make an apron. Bring your sewing machine, extension cord, manual, one yard of fabric with matching thread, scissors, and a seam ripper with you to class.
