No prior experience is needed. We’ll guide you step by step through the process, from tool selection and paint application to color placement and pattern creation. Mixed Media Embroidery

Mixed media embroidery is an art form that combines traditional embroidery with a variety of other materials, techniques, and artistic media, such as fabric, paint, collage, beads, and even non-traditional objects, to create unique textures, visual interest, and dimension. This technique allows artists to move beyond conventional embroidery by integrating different fabrics, threads, and found objects to express personal stories and break boundaries, offering a broad spectrum of creative possibilities. In this class we will make one piece together as a group and then you are welcome to use supplies to create your own additional design if there is time. Students who have to withdraw must do so at least one week prior to the start of the course for a full refund.

Course will be held in Daycare Center, Room B06
