College in the High School

We are proud to partner with many schools across the Capital Region to offer college credit for in-person courses taught within those high schools. In addition to our high school partners, we offer courses primarily online, with some remote, hybrid and in-person options depending on the term. These are full college courses that can give you a head start on your academic journey after graduation.

While our program is designed for 11th and 12th grade students, registration is also open to students starting the summer before 9th grade, with approval from a high school counselor. Courses are available year-round, including during the fall, spring and summer terms.

The credits you earn through our program can count toward certificate or degree programs at Hudson Valley Community College. They can also transfer to most other colleges and universities.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact us at cihs@hvcc.edu.
