A limited number of scholarships are available for those who qualify. Scholarships are based on financial need. Funds are made possible by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation.

Kids on Campus Scholarship Request

For your child’s safety and optimal learning experience, please honor the age requirements listed for each program.

 Children may receive medication during camp if the following procedures are followed:

• A licensed health care provider must order all medications, in writing (ex: physician, dentist). The written order will include child’s name, dosage and time to be administered, termination date, and the side effects.
• All medications must be in a pharmacy-labeled bottle or original manufacturer’s container.
• No medication is to be transported to or from camp by the student. A parent/guardian or their adult designee must bring medication to the nurse, trainer or camp staff.
• The parent or guardian must provide consent in writing for the camp to carry out the physician’s order.

Please drop off your child no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of their activity/ class. Students arriving earlier will not be supervised and parents must accept full responsibility for their behavior and safety.

A 100 percent refund will be given if a written request is received by the Office of Workforce Development and Community Education prior to the start of the camp for which your child is enrolled. After the first class meeting, a 25 percent refund will be given once a written request is received. After the second class, no refunds will be given.

Attention, parents! When we register your child for Kids on Campus programs, a student record is created for them at Hudson Valley Community College. If they are a new student, after registration your child will receive two envelopes from the college. One will contain a username and the second a password. This username and password will allow a student to access the Hudson Valley Community College email and flexible registration system for online registration. If your child is returning and you no longer have their username and password, please call our office. We can reset the password and send both in the mail. Please keep these in a safe place. Students who enroll in a computer class this summer at camp will need these to log in to the computer each day. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at (518) 629-7339.
