Forms & Additional Resources
The following forms and resources are available to students using VA benefits at Hudson Valley Community College.
Certificate of Eligibility (COE) & Statement of Benefits Submission
Students utilizing Chapter 30, 33, 1606 & 35 benefits should use this form to provide the confirmation screen showing completion of a VA Benefits Application or to submit the Certificate of Eligibility or Statement of Benefits, if eligible from the VA. Please note, submitting the Certificate of Eligibility is not a requirement, but is beneficial to have on file with the college. Students can also submit these items in-person at the college's Registrar’s Office.
VA Tuition Deferral & Intake Form - Coming Soon!
Students utilizing Chapter 30, 33, 1606 & 35 may complete a VA Tuition Deferral & Intake form, allowing you to complete the registration process now and submit payment by a later deadline to help prevent courses from dropping at designated dates based on our registration calendars.
Students that are affiliated with the military will need to complete the VA Tuition Deferral & Intake Form to indicate their desire to utilize VA Benefits for the designated semester. If a student decides not to utilize VA Benefits for the indicated semester, we will still require this information.
Monthly Enrollment Verification
Please remember that monthly enrollment verification through text message, email, or online through VA.gov is required by the VA depending on your VA benefit.
NOTE: For Post 9/11 recipients scheduled to receive MHA and students scheduled to receive Kicker payments, failure to comply after two consecutive months will result in the MHA/Kicker payments being suspended until enrollment is verified. To find out more about this requirement, please review GI Bill enrollment verification FAQs on the www.va.gov website.
