You can quit. Nicotine is highly addictive, and quitting can be hard—but you're not alone. Getting support can make a big difference. In fact, using personal support and resources can double your chances of quitting successfully.
Tobacco Cessation Program - Fall 2025
Learn about the benefits of quitting, strategies to help you quit, and resources to guide your journey.
The program includes a series of six 50-minute, weekly, in-person sessions—available in group or individual formats—led by the college’s Tobacco Treatment Specialists. The sessions focus on interventions designed to:
- Provide insights into the benefits of quitting
- Identify and address barriers to quitting
- Develop strategies to increase motivation and readiness to quit
- Build confidence in your ability to quit
- Connect you with additional resources and support
The program begins Thursday, Oct. 30, from 3 to 3:50 p.m. in the Wellness Center, located in the Siek Campus Center, Suite 270.
