The information listed below outlines the estimated annual financial requirements for international students to attend Hudson Valley Community College for either a certificate or associate’s degree program during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Tuition is for 12 - 18 credits for each of the fall and spring semesters. Summer school tuition is not included. College Fees include mandatory college and activity fees, Viking VALUE, along with mandatory International Student Accident and Illness Insurance. The exact amount needed for textbooks will vary based upon the individual courses that you are enrolled in each semester and whether you participate in Viking VALUE. 

Average Living Costs for a nine-month academic year include the following expenses: personal items and clothing, room and board, transportation, course materials and supplies. The exact amount needed for course materials and supplies will vary based upon your academic program and the individual courses that you are enrolled in each semester. If you are living with a sponsor who is providing housing and food at no cost to you, we will deduct $15,660.00 from living expenses. If dependents will be accompanying you, you are required to show an additional $4,830.00 per dependent. Please note that this is a modest, "no extras" budget.
