Kids on Campus Summer Registration Opens

April 12, 2021

Summer Kids on Campus is back for 2021 and registration for this year’s on-campus and virtual camp offerings opens Monday, April 12.

After a hiatus due to COVID-19, the college’s Office of Community and Professional Education is back with a roster of fun and educational summer offerings as well as a large number of virtual camps that can keep young people engaged from the comfort of their own home.

Half-day and full-day on-campus offerings include Athletic Camps, Circus Theatricks and Summer Academy as well as a Technology Enrichment camp at the TEC-SMART extension center in Malta.

On-campus camp programs will follow all related CDC, New York State and SUNY health guidelines and camp capacities have been reduced to meet those guidelines. Reduced capacity means slots for campers may fill up more quickly than in years past.

Virtual Camp programs focus on topics like technology, game design, programming and YouTube content creation. All virtual camps are divided by age range and may require specific computer hardware or operating systems. Check the course descriptions online for more information.

Also returning for its third year will be a Health Sciences Summer Camp for students entering ninth and tenth grade who interested in a career in the allied health fields. The one-week exploration will include faculty from the departments of the college’s School of Health Sciences.
