The Applied Technologies Department at Hudson Valley Community College hosted a Career Fair on campus in the college’s Williams and Cogan Halls on Thursday, March 28.

During the event, students had the opportunity to meet with employers from more than 50 regional, national and international companies to discuss employment and internship opportunities. The college also hosted students from local high schools and offered demonstrations in the automotive labs during the event.

The Career Fair exposed both high school and college-level students to a wealth of career possibilities in a variety of applied technologies and skilled trades fields and highlighted the college’s workforce training programs in automotive, energy, electric construction and maintenance, mechatronics, overhead line worker, and more.

In turn, they feel more confident in their career choices and more prepared to enter the workforce upon graduation.”
