Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Computer Science and Mathematics

The Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Computer Science and Mathematics Department can help you prepare for employment or transfer.

The department includes academic programs that have close ties to the region’s construction and engineering technology industry as well as programs with transfer agreements with some of the top engineering and engineering technology colleges in the country.

Students in all programs listed above, except Computer Information Systems and Hacking and Cybersecurity, receive academic advisement by appointment through the department. Renay Williams is the advisement specialist and is located in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center, Room 229.
New and current students in this department who are looking for advisement should email to set up an advisement appointment. Current students must use their HVCC email accounts. Students may also call the office at (518) 629-7358. If no one is available to take the call, please leave a message with your name, contact information and a brief description of your inquiry.
NOTE: Current students asking questions over the phone may be asked for their FERPA password, depending on what is being asked. See Communicating with Students Remotely and Complying with FERPA for more details.

Students in Computer Information Systems programs receive academic advisement through the Business Advisement Center.

Students in the Hacking and Cybersecurity program receive academic advisement through the Criminal Justice Advisement Center.
