Service Learning & Civic Engagement

Our Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement allows you to earn college credit for community service and volunteer activities related to subjects covered in class.

When you combine classroom learning with real-world experiences in the community, you'll make a positive difference in the world while enhancing your own education.

Why Service Learning?

  • 77 percent agreed that service learning should be practiced in more classes at their institutions.
  • 80 percent express a greater interest in community service after their service learning experience.
