The college's Office of Workforce Development offers Clean Energy and Sustainability courses for those preparing for a new job, promotion or looking to update their skills.

Course Offerings
PV-Associate Online
The PV-Associate Photovoltaics (Solar Power) course covers the fundamentals of photovoltaic (PV) systems design and installation.
The objective of the course is to prepare students for taking the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Associate Exam.
The course curriculum complies with NABCEP’s Job Task Analysis for the Associate exam.

This course meets the 40 hour education requirement to sit for NABCEP’s PV Associate Exam. This course can be used to complete the Photovoltaic Systems Certificate.
Prerequisites: Minimum 10th grade-level reading and math skills; previous electrical training/experience helpful.
Textbook: Photovoltaic Systems by James Dunlop, will be available for purchase at the Viking’s Cove Bookstore.
