Important Update on COVID-19 Health Screening Process

Posted on July 17, 2020

  • The college is extending the hours for COVID-19 health screening in the parking garage. The hours will now be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Visitors arriving on campus outside of those hours must go to the health screening station in the Public Safety office in the Campus Center (first floor), which is open 24/7. As a reminder, all individuals who come to campus are required to undergo the health screening before being permitted on campus. Face coverings must be worn at the screening stations at all times.
  • New York State now requires travelers who have visited a state with widespread community transmission of COVID-19 to quarantine for 14 days upon returning to New York. An up-to-date list of affected states is available on the New York State Coronavirus Travel Advisory webpage. If you have traveled to one of these states within 14 days, you must quarantine for 14 days in accordance the New York State Health Department COVID-19 Precautionary Quarantine Requirements upon your return. Any individual who visits these states must quarantine for 14 days and be cleared by Health Services before returning to campus.
  • The health screening questionnaire has been updated to reflect these changes. All individuals coming to campus must complete the questionnaire before arriving on campus each day. See the full Health Screening Process here.
