Registration Payment Information

Once you have scheduled your classes and received a bill, you will be ready to complete the registration process.
  1. Check your My Enrollment Step Checklist in WIReD
Login to Hudson Valley WIReD to view your personalized My Enrollment Step Checklist. Once you login, select on the "Enrollment" tab to access. The checklist is dynamic and will let you know if you are missing any forms, including a Certificate of Residence.
  2. Apply for Financial Aid (if you haven't yet done so)
  3. Paying Your Bill
All students must pay the tuition bill or confirm their registration by the close of business on the due date on your registration bill in order to secure their schedule. All courses on a student's schedule will be dropped for non-payment if the student is not paid in full (or confirmed) by the tuition due date. Additional registration information and a list of schedule drops can be found on the Registration Calendars.

Forms of Payment Accepted

  • Cash, Check, Discover, MasterCard, VISA or Money Order - Hudson Valley Community College will not accept foreign currency as payment. In the event that a payment (in USD) from an International banking institution results in a processing fee charged to Hudson Valley Community College, this fee will be billed to the student account for which the payment was received.

  • Financial Aid - You can use financial aid to pay your bill if it appears as a credit on your bill or in WIReD. You cannot use financial aid as a credit until it has been finalized by the Financial Aid Office. See "How to Pay Bill or Confirm Your Registration Online."

  • Veteran Deferrals - Eligible veteran students may receive a tuition deferral through the Registrar’s Office.

  • Third Party - If your employer or some other organization will be paying your bill, you must provide supporting documentation to the Cashier’s Office along with payment of any amount the student is responsible for, by the tuition due date. In the event that a student receives a New York State TAP award that is considered a duplicative benefit by the third party sponsor and/or New York State Higher Education Services Corporation, the third party sponsorship will be reduced accordingly.
  • Tuition Payment Plan - The payment plan, offered in conjunction with college partner Nelnet, requires a down payment of 25 percent of your balance plus a $50 fee. Subsequent monthly payments will be automatically withdrawn using a checking or savings account, or a VISA, MasterCard or Discover. Learn more at My College Payment Plan. To enroll in a plan, log in to WIReD and visit "Student Account Records."

How to Pay Bill/Confirm Your Registration

You may need to complete the following forms to complete the registration payment process.
  • Certificate of Residence Information and Applications
In order to qualify for resident tuition rates, you must have a valid Certificate of Residence on file with the Hudson Valley Community College Cashier's Office each year.
  • Vehicle Registration
You must register your vehicle if you will be parking on campus. Vehicle registration is completed in WIReD in the Student Account Records section. Simply choose “Register my Vehicle” and add your vehicle information. Vehicle registration will be made available for an upcoming semester once the prior semester has completed.
NOTE: You will need your license plate number, make, model, year and color of your vehicle. Students who are eligible to register a vehicle will be allowed to add up to three vehicles to their semester permit. Only one registered vehicle per permit assigned to a student is allowed to be parked on campus at any given time.

The college uses a license plate recognition system to ensure that only registered vehicles are parked on campus. The system scans license plates of vehicles parked on campus to determine whether or not the vehicles are permitted to be on campus. Vehicles that are not registered may be issued a warning and/or violation.
  • Vehicle Registration Fee Waiver
Complete this form if you are not driving on campus.
  • Health Services Forms
  • FERPA Authorization Form
Complete this form so you, or a person you authorize, can obtain information about your student records via the phone.
  • Intent to Not Enroll Form
Complete this form if you have changed your mind and are not planning on attending at this time.
  • Financial Aid Authorization Form
Complete this form to authorize use of your financial aid award to pay non-institutional charges, i.e. parking tickets. This form is not used to confirm your registration.
