AI Training & Learning Resources

Welcome to Hudson Valley Community College’s AI Resources Hub.

The Center for Professional Excellence (CPE) offers AI professional development designed for both faculty and staff. Workshops range from foundational topics, such as how generative AI works, its capabilities and limitations, ethics, bias, privacy, and responsible use, to more applied topics tailored to employees’ roles.

Faculty can explore the use of AI in teaching and learning, assessment, accessibility, and other instructional practices. Staff can build practical skills for using AI in administrative work, including workflow improvement, prompting, emerging AI tools, data analysis, and reporting. Faculty and staff may also complete the requirements for an Artificial Intelligence Certification of Completion.

The HVCC AI Resources site is maintained by the AI Council. Faculty and staff who would like more information about the council or wish to contact its members can visit the AI Council SharePoint site.
