Business and Liberal Arts Programs
Academic advising provides the opportunity to receive help in the course selection process and review your progress toward your degree or educational goal. Advisement also assists you with the timely completion of degree requirements as well as maintaining good academic standing and financial aid eligibility.
Students not enrolled in a program can receive advisement or register in-person, by phone or online with an AVN to schedule their classes.
Academic advisement for students enrolled in degree and certificate programs takes place within the academic department or advisement center. Some departments allow students to schedule their classes online using WIReD and an Advisement Verification Number (AVN).
NOTE: New students are required to attend New Student Orientation prior to the start of classes, either before or after their academic advisement appointment.
