File Your Renewal FAFSA
To be considered for any type of financial aid (grants, loans or scholarships), all students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each academic year. File by April 15 for the fall semester; and by October 15 for the spring semester.
The Mastrangelo Financial Aid Center recommends that applicants file a Renewal FAFSA electronically at www.fafsa.gov. Using a Renewal FAFSA will reduce the time needed to complete your FAFSA by pulling information from the previous year’s FAFSA form. You will only need to update any personal information changes and new income information.
Results are sent to you and Hudson Valley Community College usually within a week from filing if your application is electronically signed with a PIN.
