“Being organized is the best way to be productive. I learned this during my first semester with EOP and it has helped me prepare for upcoming semesters. I also had help with personal and financial issues that I came across during my time at Hudson Valley. Thanks to the EOP, nothing interfered with my education.”

The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at Hudson Valley Community College is a New York state grant program that provides educational and financial assistance to students who meet certain financial income requirements and are considered to be at risk of not reaching their full academic potential. In short, the EOP helps talented students whose educational and economic circumstances threaten to limit their opportunities. While the EOP assists students in making a smooth transition to college life by introducing them to academic and student support services, it also opens the door to a lifetime of career options, professional advancement and personal enrichment.
