Homecoming & Alumni Weekend

Hudson Valley Community College will hold its annual Homecoming weekend festivities Friday, Sept. 19 and Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025. Most events are open to the public; please note where registration may be required.

FRIDAY, September 19

• Men’s and Women’s Soccer Games
  2 and 4:15 p.m.
  The Vikings soccer teams will kick off Homecoming weekend by facing off against Tompkins Cortland Community College, with the women’s team playing at 2 p.m. and the men’s at 4:15 p.m. at Hudson Valley’s Outdoor Athletic Complex. Tickets are available at the gate and admission is free.

SATURDAY, September 20

• Distinguished Alumni Brunch (RSVP required)
  9 - 11 a.m.
  The program celebrates alumni for notable contributions within their career fields and communities. The brunch will be held in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center. RSVP by Friday September 12 to Gigi Ben-Ami at (518) 629-8012 or g.benami@hvcc.edu to attend.

• Tailgate Party and BBQ
  11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  The Tailgate BBQ will be held at the picnic area by the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. All are invited to enjoy free music, food and beverages, and giveaways prior to the Homecoming football game. Free t-shirts will be given out (while supplies last)!

• Homecoming Football Game
  1 p.m.
  The Vikings football team will take on Nassau Community College for the Homecoming football game. Tickets are available at the gate for $5 per person; admission is free for Hudson Valley students, faculty, staff, and honorary guests.
