Why Hudson Valley?
Three questions for Tour Guide Isaac Stritsman

Isaac StritsmanIsaac Stritsman
Business Administration program, Class of 2008

A graduate of Berlin Junior/Senior High School, Isaac is one of a dozen students who volunteer as tour guides, sharing their knowledge of campus and experiences with accepted and prospective students. Here, he shares some thoughts about his Hudson Valley experience.

Why did you enroll at Hudson Valley? I came to Hudson Valley Community College because I wanted to stay close to my home and family. I also wanted to get my general education requirements out of the way for as inexpensive as possible while still getting a level of education comparable with any major four-year university.

What do you like best? I love Hudson Valley Community College because it provides a large number of opportunities to explore career possibilities, and when you find one that aligns with your personal skills and interests there are plenty of experienced faculty to guide you in that direction.

What is your goal? My goal is to be a small business owner (hopefully, before I even graduate from college) progressively starting up ventures that focus on social issues like health and well-being, energy and finances.

Haven't been to campus yet? Sign up for a tour today!

Hudson Valley Community College's mission is to provide dynamic, student-centered, comprehensive, and accessible educational opportunities that address the diverse needs of the community.
