A job fair offers participants the advantage of meeting with employers face-to-face. It is also an opportunity to learn about available positions and consider multiple options before applying. Participants can network for future job openings and establish a list of contacts for applying at a later date. In addition, there is good news for job applicants who hold an associate degree. According to information supplied to “CNN Money” by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, nearly 30 percent of Americans with an associate degree earn more than those with a bachelor’s degree.
