Barasch stated, "My experience at Hudson Valley Community College was one of academic rigor, rich with extracurricular activities and friendships that will last a lifetime. It provided a solid foundation for my later education, and prepared me for my legal career today. I am honored to serve as the chairwoman of the Alumni Association and look forward to further developing our strong alumni community."

"Her professional experience and community involvement have provided her the skills necessary to take the association to an even higher level of excellence. Her creative energy and entrepreneurial spirit make her an ideal choice at this very exciting and challenging time for Hudson Valley Community College's Alumni Association."
