Hudson Valley offers many opportunities for international students, all designed to make them feel at home. There are English as a Second Language courses, conversation groups for non-native speakers and the International Students Club, which seeks to promote fellowship and friendship among international and American students. And these are just the tip of the iceberg with regard to what the college has to offer. Hudson Valley is the right choice for every student, no matter where they're from. We have something for everybody.

Hudson Valley Community College welcomes international students and makes every effort to accommodate their special needs. There is always a coordinator for international student services available to provide a full range of services. These services are designed to ease the student's adjustment to academic life at Hudson Valley Community College and to make their learning experience a successful and enjoyable one.

Opportunities for Graduates

Graduates

More than 40 percent of Hudson Valley's graduates transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Hudson Valley has transfer agreements with 37 institutions, including joint admission agreements with the State University of New York at Albany and Plattsburgh State University.

Hudson Valley graduates regularly transfer to a wide range of four-year schools, including Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Siena College, Cornell University, Syracuse University, Clarkson University and Union College.
