Science Study Center

The Biology, Chemistry and Physics Department faculty and peer tutors provide a welcoming atmosphere for students needing extended academic support in the natural and physical sciences.

Students often come to the Science Study Center to have their science-related questions answered by knowledgeable faculty and peer tutors, meet with their instructors and form study groups. The center also offers textbooks, computer programs, reserve articles and other course-related material.

Study groups may prepare for a laboratory practical exam using models, bones and microscope slides (available in the wet lab area).

Computers are available in the center and can be used for writing papers, doing research or viewing computer tutorials.
