Community Education and Engagement

HVCC North serves as a central location where the community can learn about energy issues and green technologies, helping to increase awareness of the need for and availability of clean energy sources.

School groups, community organizations and businesses visit HVCC North with increasing frequency for programs and information sessions.

HVCC North regularly hosts external groups who use the facility to host meetings and seminars. These groups include:

  • Chamber of Southern Saratoga County

  • Saratoga Chamber of Commerce
  • U.S. Green Building Council

Local workforce investment boards and regional economic development councils also utilize the meeting space.

HVCC North is also a hub for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education events for elementary, middle and high school groups, including a targeted workshop to introduce girls to STEM.
