The mission of the Leaning Centers is to:

  • establish an environment that encourages the development of learning skills and builds students' self-confidence and self-esteem;

  • develop and implement approaches to instruction and learning that are innovative, individualized and responsive to the needs of students at Hudson Valley;

  • increase students' proficiency in the learning skills necessary for academic success;

  • provide support services and resources to Hudson Valley faculty members to help them meet the needs of their students.
