Riesa is a Nusantara Arts board member and an Indonesian woman from Jakarta who has lived in Buffalo, New York, for more than 20 years. She grew up dancing and began studying Balinese dance several years ago. She started teaching Balinese dance classes in Buffalo in 2023 and now leads Nusantara Arts’ community dance group.
