Kathleen Parks Band
Kathleen Parks’ songwriting blends pop, folk and classic jazz influences, while her virtuosic fiddle playing reimagines traditional and modern styles with boundless groove and playful improvisation. Grounded in Celtic and American roots music, she combines pop sensibilities, funk rhythms, soulful vocals and groove‑based improvisation to create performances that feel both unexpected and familiar.
Parks has shared the stage with artists including Paula Cole, Sammy Rae & the Friends, Gordon Lightfoot, Aoife O’Donovan, The Punch Brothers, Jerry Douglas, Sierra Hull and Brian O’Donovan. In August 2024, she released her debut solo album, Rolling Down the Line.
“Kathleen Parks’ voice moves from kittenish to saucy and sassy — perfect to deliver her fun, cheeky lyrics.”
— Ellen Montondo, Right Now album review
