Kids on Campus

Kids on CampusHudson Valley Community College has been sponsoring programs for children and teens for more than 25 years, enrolling approximately 900 students each year. We offer summer camps and wintertime "Mice on Ice" skating programs as well as SAT preparation, Driver Education and other programs aimed at older teens.

Our winter/spring and fall Kids on Campus classes are held weekday evenings or weekends. View our current offerings by season.

February Break Week Summer Academy Sampler

Has your child wanted to try one of our popular Summer Academy classes but couldn't fit them into their summer schedule? Here's your chance! We will investigate, create and experience cooking, the creative arts, science and computers. Students will have a chance to use our newly renovated kitchen classroom. Open to students aged 7-12, space is limited! Scholarships available.
Monday, Feb. 20 - Friday, Feb. 24, 2017: 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Extended care is also available from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. and 4 - 5 p.m. Cost is $20; CRN 60849.

All students will need a medical history and consent form and immunization records (if not on file) before attending. Consent forms are available on our Forms page.

Camp Fair

Each spring, we host a summer camp fair and help connect great kids with great camps.

Join us Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
at the McDonough Sports Complex Field House

Get Involved

If you are a teacher and have an idea for a Kids on Campus summer offering, submit a course proposal and an application. The summer schedule is finalized in December.

If you are interested in being considered for a position as a camp counselor, please check the employment opportunities webpage in March or April. Counselors must be 16 years old.
