Jump-Start Your College Education!
GirlThe "College in the High School" initiative at Hudson Valley Community College allows students at 29 area high schools to enroll in - and receive credit for - college courses offered right at their school.

More than 75 college-level courses* - including Calculus, Computer Aided Drafting, Macroeconomics, Psychology and Spanish - are offered at high schools throughout the Capital Region.

The courses can be used toward a Hudson Valley degree, a General Education Certificate or transferred to most colleges throughout the country. Check with your guidance counselor to see if enrolling in a College in the High School course is right for you.

Don't see your high school on the list of College in the High School participants? You can still earn college credit before graduating high school by enrolling in a class on campus, online or at one of our more than a dozen off-campus sites. For more information, visit the Office of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions.

*Not all courses are offered at every high school.

Worried about paying for college?
Higher education at Hudson Valley Community College doesn't come with a high price tag.

In-state tuition for the 2005-06 academic year is $2,700 annually - and the college and its charitable foundation offer nearly 60 scholarships to incoming students that make Hudson Valley even more affordable.

For more information, visit the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation Scholarship Program.
