Hudson Valley Community College to Offer 15 Courses at TEC-SMART in Malta this Fall

Thinking about going back to college? Hudson Valley Community College will offer 15 courses at its TEC-SMART facility in Malta beginning Monday, Sept. 14.
The college will offer “English Composition I,” English Composition II,” “Interpretations of American History,” “Elementary Algebra I,” “College Algebra with Trigonometry,” “Precalculus,” “Principles of Marketing,” “General Psychology,” “Developmental Psychology,” “Business Communications,” “Computer Concepts and Applications I,” “Principles of Microeconomics” and ‘Principles of Macroeconomics.” The semester runs through Dec. 18. The cost is $171 per credit hour.
Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART (Training and Education Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies) facility features more than a dozen state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories to train the workforce in semiconductor manufacturing and green technologies.
TEC-SMART offers much more than industrial technology courses. Students can take general education, business, liberal arts and humanities courses in the facility's comfortable, technology-equipped classrooms and 200-seat auditorium.
