College's Academic Departments Honor Top Students for 2014-2015

Nearly 200 of the college's top students were honored with a variety of academic achievement awards at the end of the 2014-2015 academic year. The awards celebrate the depth of student excellence across the college's more than 70 academic programs.
Students are selected for honors by faculty and departmental administrative staff based upon a variety of criteria that range from academic excellence and clinical skill to community service. View a listing of the students who were honored on the college’s Merit page.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 75 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 13,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 75,000 alumni.
