College to Host Open House for Albany Residents Interested in College or Career Training

Hudson Valley Community College will host an open house and information session at its Albany Extension Center, located at 175 Central Avenue, Tuesday, March 18, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Any Albany resident interested in full- or part-time study is welcome to attend. Prospective students can meet with college admissions and financial aid counselors, learn about fast-track career training and discover how to begin their higher education at the college’s Albany Extension Center.
Presentations by college Admissions and Continuing Education representatives will be held throughout the afternoon. New students also will be able to register for summer and fall courses.
The college’s Albany Extension Center has been offering day and evening credit-bearing and credit-free courses since 2002. The site includes classrooms, a computer lab and a mock pharmacy for the college’s Pharmacy Technician Training program.
