Hudson Valley Community College To Host Financial Aid Workshops

Thinking about going to college and don’t know how you can pay for it? Hudson Valley Community College is hosting two upcoming workshops explaining the financial aid process. The free information sessions are 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, and Wednesday, May 7, in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center meeting rooms at Hudson Valley Community College.
High school students, non-traditional students and those looking to go back to college are encouraged to attend. Students considering other colleges besides Hudson Valley are welcome. Participants can learn who is eligible for financial aid and how to apply for federal and state financial aid and scholarships. Members of Hudson Valley Community College’s Financial Aid Office will be on hand to answer questions and assist you with the application process. If you wish to apply for financial aid at the information session, please bring all 2007 federal tax returns with you.
