Management, Communication and Diversity Are Topics For August Seminars at Hudson Valley Community College

Hudson Valley Community College’s Workforce Development Institute will offer a series of full-day and two-day seminars designed for managers, supervisors and human resource professionals this August.

“The 21st Century Workplace – Diversity, Discipline and More” will cover a variety of management and human resource topics. Seminar titles include: Supervision: Management vs. Discipline; Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry; The HR Function and the Challenge of the Diverse Workplace; What CEOs and HR Directors Need to Know About Employment Law; Transition in the Workplace: From Boomers to GenXYZers; High-Tech Crime Investigation and Computer Forensics; and Communication in the Workplace.

The seminars, made possible by a grant from the State University of New York, will provide up-to-date skills and training. Special discounted rates are available for local and state law enforcement, health and public safety officials.
