Peter G. St. Louis Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Peter G. St. Louis of Loudonville, a 2003 graduate from the Hudson Valley Community College Engineering Science program, recently was honored by the college.
St. Louis, a president's list student during his time at the college, was the recipient of the Garnett D. Baltimore Award, which is awarded to an outstanding member of the graduating class in the Engineering Science program. He will transfer to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to study mechanical engineering. St. Louis also is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the national academic honor society for two-year college students.
Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 11,000 students each year, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
