Visual Studio Software Courses Offered This Fall at Hudson Valley's Workforce Development Institute

Hudson Valley Community College's Workforce Development Institute will offer two new courses this fall based on the Visual Studio package, Microsoft's new development tool for Internet applications.

"Visual Basic .NET" and "Visual C# .NET" are both introductory courses offered in the evening this fall. Web developers can use Visual Studio to create applications that span multiples platforms.

"Visual Basic .NET" will be offered from September 25 through January 22, 2003 on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. "Visual C# .NET" runs from September 23 through December 30 on Monday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.

The cost of each course is $540. Classes will be held in the Workforce Development Institute Corporate Training Lab in the Hy Rosenblum Administration Center on the Hudson Valley campus. The Workforce Development Institute also offers many other courses in computer programming, Web, and general software skills.
