Tales of Three Women from China To Be Portrayed in One-Woman Show

\"ImageActress Christina R. Chan will tell the personal stories of three women from 19th century China in a one-woman show titled "Unbinding Our Lives," to be presented Tuesday, March 5, in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre at Hudson Valley Community College.

Chan will portray women being sold into child slavery and prostitution and being abandoned in the streets of China.

The 50-minute show will begin at 11 a.m.

Sponsored by the Cultural Affairs program at the college, the performance is free for Hudson Valley students and faculty with ID. Admission for the general public is $5. Call 629-4TIX for reservations or information.
