At the workshop, Don Frament, an assistant professor and an LAC educational specialist, will provide information on tutorial groups, educational workshops, and other academic support services offered by the LAC.

Monday\'s workshop is the first in a series of weekly educational resource workshops that will serve as a semester-long orientation/introduction for students who plan to utilize the various academic support and student service departments at Hudson Valley.

The workshops are a component of the Educational Opportunity Program, the Student Activities Office and the Student Life Committee\'s \"Formula For Success.\" The workshops compliment other campus efforts to improve retention rates and enhance the quality of student life while improving students' chances for academic success and personal development.
