Application for Admission
A completed application for admission and transcripts (high school, GED/HSE, college) must be on file by noon on the Saturday prior to the start of classes.
Official transcripts can be mailed to the Admissions Office or sent electronically through a password protected delivery system (i.e. parchment, e-script, etc.) to admissions@hvcc.edu.
NOTES:
- General entrance requirements, special admissions programs, and academic program prerequisites are detailed in the [Loading Admissions link…] section of the College Catalog.
- Conviction of a prior misdemeanor or felony does not affect admission into a Hudson Valley Community College academic program. However, a conviction may affect a student's ability to:
- Participate in clinical, field experiences, or internships that require a criminal history check as a condition of participation;
- Be licensed or certified for certain professions;
- Participate in study abroad programs; or
- Participate in non-academic overnight trips (including athletic events).
Questions related to a prior misdemeanor or felony conviction can be directed to Mr. Alfredo Balarin at a.balarin@hvcc.edu or (518) 629-7348.
