Whether you're looking for tutoring, help writing a paper or doing research, or want to learn about programs to help at-risk students stay in school, we have the services you need.

Center for Academic Engagement
The mission of the Center for Academic Engagement (CAE) is to facilitate collaboration between academic and instructional support units and encourage faculty and staff to intervene on student retention issues in a timely manner.

Collegiate Academic Support Program
The Collegiate Academic Support Program (CASP) is designed to provide a support system for high risk students. A special emphasis is placed on diversity, individuality and holistic development. Assistance with research paper writing is offered, as well as one-on-one and small group tutoring in math and the sciences.

Computer Learning Center
All registered students can use the college's Computer Learning Center to complete assignments, practice skills, use the internet for research, or use email. A faculty member may refer you to the Computer Learning Center for individualized instruction or workshops on basic computer applications.

Educational Opportunity Program
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is instrumental in diversifying campus enrollment and provides academic support services and financial assistance to at-risk students whose socioeconomic circumstances may prevent them from successfully completing their educational goals.

Language Lab
The Language Lab features an control console with 24 individual study carrels. The equipment may be used independently or programmed by the instructor from the center console. The lab is open on a daily basis for independent study when it is not being used for classes. Learning Assistance Center
At the Learning Assistance Center, you can get academic support that encourages you to become an independent and confident learner. All services are free, and the LAC faculty can help you with concepts that you have difficulty understanding, discuss assignments, and reinforce classroom instruction. Located in the Marvin Library Learning Commons, lower level.

Library
The library is a quiet, academic work zone. Study carrels, tables and group study rooms are available throughout the building, and faculty and other professional staff are available to help students with research, tutoring and study strategies.

Writing and Research Center
At the Writing and Research Center, located on the second floor of the Marvin Library Learning Commons, you can get help with developing term papers and essays and learn how to polish any writing assignment.
