Give Kids a Smile
February 4, 2005

Give Kids a Smile, an annual one-day volunteer initiative to promote children’s dental health was held at Hudson Valley Community College’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, Friday, February 4. Local preschoolers visited the clinic to learn healthy dental hygiene habits and to receive a free dental hygiene screening. February is Children’s Dental Health Month.

Give Kids a Smile is an annual American Dental Association program, locally co-sponsored by the Third District Dental Society, the Fourth District Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association and Hudson Valley Community College. Sullivan and Schein provided masks and gloves used during the day.

Hudson Valley’s Dental Hygiene Clinic was the only local site for this initiative.
