Works by artist Hugo Xavier Bastidas continue to be displayed in the Marvin Teaching Gallery at Hudson Valley Community College.

Titled "Soiled," the exhibit of Mr. Bastidas' works features black- and-white oil paintings. The Marvin Teaching Gallery is located in the Marvin Library (adjacent to the visitors' parking lot) at Hudson Valley Community College, 80 Vandeburgh Ave., Troy. The gallery showing of Bastidas' works is free and open to the public. The show is sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Program and the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is closed on Sundays. For more information on the Marvin Teaching Gallery, contact Tara Fracalossi at 629-8006.
