Hudson Valley Community College to Host Instant Admission Days April through August

Hudson Valley Community College will host a series of Instant Admission Days from April to August, beginning on Wednesday, April 9, for prospective students to meet with admissions counselors and be admitted for the fall 2014 semester in person.
Instant Admission Days will be held in the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 223, on the main campus in Troy on May 7, June 11 and July 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fall classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 25.
The college’s Albany Extension Center, 175 Central Avenue, Albany, also will be the site of four Instant Admission Days on Wednesdays, April 16, May 14, June 18 and July 16 from noon to 5 p.m.
A week-long Instant Admission event takes place Monday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 8, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 223, on the main campus in Troy.
A Saturday event will be held on Aug. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to noon, also in the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 223, on the main campus in Troy.
Potential students who are interested in joining one of Hudson Valley’s 16 athletic teams are invited to an Athletics Instant Admission day on Friday, April 25 from 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to speaking with Admissions staff, applicants will meet coaches. The day includes campus tours, placement testing, breakfast and lunch. Registration is required and may be made by calling Justin Hoyt at (518) 629-7898 or (518) 491-5250. The event begins in the McDonough Sports Complex Concourse.
The $30 application fee will be waived for students who enroll through the Instant Admission process. All students must bring their academic records for review and those who wish to begin an application for financial aid should bring their most recent tax return statements.
