Choosing the right summer camp for their children is on the minds of a lot of Capital Region parents this time of year. On Saturday, March 31, Hudson Valley Community College will bring together nearly 30 of the Capital Region's summertime camp offerings at its second annual Summer Camp Fair.

The fair, which is free to the public, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college's McDonough Field House. The camp fair also will be the first day of registration for Hudson Valley's Summer Camps on Campus programs.

The event will be co-hosted by Radio Disney and will include a family fun area, clowns, a DJ, music, dancing and bouncy houses for the kids.

Hudson Valley Community College's Kids on Campus program will offer a variety of athletic camps, as well as Circus Theatricks, Technology Camp, Youth Theater Program, and Summer Academy, this summer. Athletics camps will include adventure, all sports, basketball, football, golf, softball, tennis and volleyball.

For more information, directions to the campus, or a list of camps participating, go to or call the college's Office of Community and Professional Education at (518) 629-7339.
