Conway Ice Rink Offers Recreational Skating for the Public at Hudson Valley Community College

The public is invited to enjoy recreational ice skating at Hudson Valley Community College's indoor ice rink on weekday and weekend afternoons.
The Conway Ice Rink is open from noon to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 4 to 6:15 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, offering 18,000 square feet of skating surface surrounded by spectator seating. Admission is $2 for children from 2 to 17 years old; $2 for seniors (60+); and $3 for adults. There is a $1 per person discount for a group of ten or more with advance notice. Quality skate rentals are available for toddlers through adults at $3 each.
Lessons are provided on evenings and weekends by outside vendors and the college offers credit-bearing classes for beginning and intermediate skaters on weekday mornings. Call (518) 629-4829 for outside lessons and (518) 629-7372 for college classes. Call (518) 629-4850 for general information.
The season runs through March 11, 2012. The rink is closed Thursday, Nov. 24; Saturday, Dec. 24; Sunday, Dec.25; Saturday, Dec. 31; and Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012. It will be open for the holiday week, Monday, Dec.26 through Friday, Dec. 30 from noon to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. each day.
Bring your own refreshments or purchase snacks and beverages from vending machines. The ice rink is located in the McDonough Sports Complex. Free parking is available in front of the complex.
