Hudson Valley Community College Student Steinke of Athens Receives Scholarshop

Hudson Valley Community College student Christopher Steinke of Athens recently was awarded the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Scholarship. Steinke graduated with honors from Hudson Valley's Engineering Science department. Steinke will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in fall 2001.
Future plans for this talented student including attending the Space Flight and Life Sciences Training Program for NASA, and as he states, "Changing the world until I see fit!"
Many students in the challenging Engineering Science program at Hudson Valley transfer to top four-year programs after earning their A.A.S. degree. Students can customize their coursework to fit their lifestyle, with part-time study, evening courses, summer courses and Web-based courses.
