Hudson Valley Community College Host Job Fair for New Facility
Hudson Valley Community College is searching for adjunct professors to teach at its new facility located in Malta, NY. The facility will open in January 2010 and an information session about the positions available will be held on September 16 from 4 – 6 p.m. Those interested can stop in anytime during those hours. The information session will take place at 107 Hermes in the Saratoga Technology and Energy Park (STEP) adjacent to the site of Hudson Valley's new facility. The new facility, TEC-SMART (Training and Education Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies www.hvcc.edu/tecsmart) will feature more than a dozen state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories that will be used to train the workforce in green technologies, including semiconductor manufacturing, photovoltaic, geothermal, alternative fuels and wind energy. In addition, courses will be offered at the facility in Business and the Liberal Arts and Sciences area, including English, psychology, math and more.
Adjunct Professors are needed in the areas of Photovoltaic, Geothermal, Large Wind, Automotive, Electrical Engineering Technology, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Business, English, Psychology, Spanish, Sociology, Mathematics, Human Services, History and Chemical Dependency Counseling.
