Troy Student Justin Navarette Honored by Hudson Valley Community College

Justin Navarette of Troy recently received a year-end departmental award at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.
Navarette received the Award for Excellence in Political Science, which is presented to an outstanding student by the faculty of the History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department. Navarett, who's earned a 4.0 GPA, plans to continue working as a legislative aide in the NYS Assembly while completing his associate's degree at Hudson Valley. He plans to continue his education at SUNY Albany and Albany Law School.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate’s degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and also sponsors an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
